Rules on League/Division Placement for Next SeasonThis team is really a special group. I want to reiterate that everyone might not play in every game. We are in the most competetive group of play. I do however, plan on pushing the kids to their maximum capibility.-Dohn

Coach Nimmo's Corner

[Dec 29] Happy Holidays to all! Well, we are in the elite Division 1!
We are paired with AAU and YBOA teams. I'd rather be 5-5 and playing the best than 10-0 winning every game by 20. The team is really going to get a lot better and I cant be more excited for them. We are going to have to dig deep EVERY time we step on the floor. EVERY time!

I want to be the first to tell the team I was selected as the VA VIPERS U11 AAU head coach this past weekend. I will still coach the Jr. Hornets in the winters and AAU in the spring and summer. I was approached by Loudon and Fairfax to coach AAU, but turned it down. The main reason is that the VIPERS send the AAU kids back to county select in the winter unlike the other local AAU programs that make them play all year round together. In other words I want to stay with this group and try and keep them together as they progress, the next three winters until high school.
